Aoi Tsubaki, a university student who can see spirits known as “ayakashi,” is suddenly abducted one day and taken to Tenjin-ya, a long-standing inn in the Hidden Realm. She is confronted with a massive debt left by her grandfather and a “promise” that had been made in the Hidden Realm. As collateral for the debt, she is forced to marry the Master Innkeeper—an Ogre.

However, Aoi rejects this fate, declaring she will work to pay back the debt on her own terms. She opens a small diner called Yugao in a corner of Tenjin-ya, where her heartfelt hospitality satisfies the hunger and souls of the ayakashi. Though she struggles at times, Aoi pushes forward, forging bonds with the residents of the Hidden Realm. The “promise” from that day gradually transforms into an irreplaceable home.

Aoi overcomes her trials at Orio-ya, the inn in the southern land, and returns to Yugao. Her peaceful days are short-lived, however, as an unprecedented crisis descends upon Tenjin-ya. She has a home she wants to protect and allies who believe in her. Nurtured by countless encounters and strengthening bonds, the story begins anew.

The cast stars Nao Toyama as Aoi Tsubaki, Katsuyuki Konishi as the Master Innkeeper (Oodanna), Shunichi Toki as Ginji, Atsushi Tamaru as Byakuya, Ai Kakuma as Oryo, Mitsuki Nakae as Kasuga, Manaka Iwami as Chibi, Aya Suzaki as Ai, Yuki Inoue as Sasuke, Kaito Ishikawa as Ranmaru, and Satoshi Hino as the Raijū.
