The synopsis and preview stills for Episode 7, “Infiltrating the Imperial Court,” of the TV anime “Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits II,” airing on TOKYO MX and other networks from November 12, have been released.
Setting out once more for the yōkai capital aboard the Seikamaru, Aoi serves up a variety of dishes from her kitchen cart to delighted ayakashi. Then Hatori from Orioya appears and begins speaking about Zakuro, the Southeast Petal—one of the Eight Petals. His warning leaves Aoi with an uneasy feeling, even as the situation surrounding Odanna and Takechiyo takes an unexpected turn. Led by Byakuya, Aoi sets off for the palace with Sasuke at her side.

College student Aoi Tsubaki has always been able to see ayakashi—spirits. One day she is suddenly abducted and taken to Tenjinya, a long‑established inn in Kakuriyo, the Hidden Realm. Her late grandfather left behind a massive debt and a “promise” made in Kakuriyo. To settle that debt, she is told she must marry Odanna—the Ogre Master. Aoi refuses to accept that fate.
She will work. She will repay it herself. To pay down what is owed she opens the little eatery Yūgao in a corner of Tenjinya, and with heartfelt hospitality fills empty stomachs and lonely hearts. Though she sometimes struggles, she presses forward and forges bonds with the inhabitants of the Hidden Realm. The “promise” made that day gradually transforms into an irreplaceable place to belong.
After overcoming trials at the southern inn Orioya, Aoi returns to Yūgao. But the calm days are short‑lived—an unprecedented crisis looms over Tenjinya. She has a home she wants to protect, and friends who believe in her. Nurtured by countless encounters and deepening ties, the story stirs to life once again.
