The main visual and full theatrical trailer have been released for The Dangers in My Heart The Movie, set for nationwide release in Japan on February 13, 2026. The following information is based on the official announcement.
Main Visual Revealed
The newly unveiled main visual depicts Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada standing amidst a row of cherry trees in full bloom. The two stand side-by-side, each harboring their own feelings, their expressions conveying a deep, suppressed emotion. While the image retains the clumsy yet straightforward dynamic of their relationship, it also exudes a fresh, slightly different atmosphere from the TV series. The fluttering cherry blossom petals further accentuate the soft, bittersweet world of the film.
In the background, Moeko Sekine, Chihiro Kobayashi, and Serina Yoshida appear cheerful, while Haruya Nanjo quietly watches Yamada. The visual captures a mood distinct from the TV anime series, hinting at the cinematic experience to come.
Full Trailer Released: First Look at “Big Sister’s” Band Scene
The newly released full trailer carefully depicts the relationship Ichikawa and Yamada have built over time. Scenes reflecting on their journey from the TV anime are scattered throughout, creating a composition sure to tug at the heartstrings of fans who have watched over them.
Furthermore, a scene featuring Kana Ichikawa (Big Sister) performing with her band makes its debut in this footage! Set to the song “Tsuzuku” by her band, Primary COLOR, the sequence captures the heat of the stage and the cheers of the audience with an immersive realism only possible in a theatrical release.
In the trailer’s final moments, accompanied by the theme song “Akane,” there is a breathtaking scene where Ichikawa and Yamada’s feelings seem to align. These impressive cuts overflow with a youthful, bittersweet quality, signaling that their relationship is undeniably moving forward. Theme Song “Akane” by Yorushika
The theme song for the film will be “Akane” by Yorushika, who also performed the opening theme for the first season of the TV anime. The song is premiered in the trailer released today.

“I used to love reading Toson Shimazaki’s poetry collection Wakanashu. Among them is a poem titled ‘Shiruya Kimi’ (Do You Know). ‘Akane’ was written under the direct influence of that poem.
For some reason, I have an image of twilight when it comes to The Dangers in My Heart. Perhaps their relationship evokes that impression, or maybe it’s an intuition that the supreme nostalgia of our school days is close to a vivid crimson color. I hope that this song, ‘Akane,’ together with ‘Shayo’ which I provided previously, becomes a part of the color that paints the visual work The Dangers in My Heart.”
