An anime adaptation has been green-lit for Junket Bank, Ikko Tanaka’s high-stakes gambling battle manga featuring bankers and gamblers, currently serialized in Weekly Young Jump. The broadcast is slated to begin in October. A new key visual, along with the main staff and cast, has also been unveiled.
Banks are places where the most money-obsessed individuals in the country gather. Faced with massive, meticulously managed sums of cash, someone had a thought: a bank could be the ultimate gambling den.
Akira Mitarai, a rookie banker, is suddenly transferred to an unfamiliar department—the Special Duties Division. Guided by his new boss, he steps into a secret casino operated by the bank itself. Amidst this bizarre spectacle stands a gambler who radiates an overwhelming presence: Shin Mafutsu. Captivated by Mafutsu, Mitarai abandons his rot-inducing, mundane routine and plunges headfirst into a world of life-threatening passion.
Frenzy, despair, ecstasy, ruin, and yearning—everything is packed within these walls.
The original work is by Ikko Tanaka. Seiji Kishi is directing, with Makoto Fukami handling series composition, Masanori Shino designing the characters, and Taku Iwasaki composing the music. The animation is being produced by CUE.
Soma Saito will voice Shin Mafutsu, while Rikuya Yasuda will play Akira Mitarai.

Shin Mafutsu (CV: Soma Saito)
An enigmatic gambler who exudes an uncanny presence. He usually maintains an aloof demeanor with a touch of childishness. However, once a gamble begins, he completely reads his opponents, accurately and mercilessly exposing their true natures as they unravel under extreme pressure. Driven solely by the pursuit of his own “amusement,” he repeatedly throws himself into life-or-death gambles.
Akira Mitarai (CV: Rikuya Yasuda)
A rookie banker working at Crow Bank’s Central Branch. He feels stifled by his repetitive, “error-free” routine of conventional work and daily life. Following his assignment to the Special Duties Division, he discovers the existence of the gambling den sprawling beneath the bank. As he meets various gamblers, including Mafutsu, and becomes fascinated by their ways of life, a dormant madness within him quietly begins to awaken.
