The synopsis and scene stills for the TV anime A Star Brighter Than the Sun Episode 3, “No Matter How Far Apart,” airing from October 16 across 28 TBS-affiliated stations, have been released.
“The fact that Kamishiro has someone he likes” lands on Iwata like a heavy weight. Even on the school trip that’s just begun, she can’t help but find her eyes following Kamishiro wherever he goes. Hisui and Kagawa do their best to cheer on Iwata’s crush, but somehow, whenever Kamishiro’s around, all she manages to show him are her most embarrassing sides…
Based on the original work by 河原和音, directed by 小林彩, with series composition by 中西やすひろ, character designs by 曾錦峰, music by 田渕夏海 and 櫻井美希, and animation production by Studio KAI.
Slightly sturdier than average, Iwata, and the delicate Kamishiro. Back in grade school, Iwata fell in love at first sight with Kamishiro’s smile. The thin, small boy from those days grew into a breezy, handsome teen by the time they were in middle school—someone who felt far out of reach. Then, paired together for their final junior-high sports festival, the first love she’d kept tucked away begins to stir again.
