After last week’s episode of Arknights: Perish in Frost, a new trailer was released on Friday. Arknights season two began airing on October 6, with Yostar Pictures returning as the show’s animators.
Arknights: Perish in Frost has a number of original soundtrack compositions, including MYTH & ROID’s “ACHE in PULSE” and ReoNA’s “R.I.P.” during the credits. The sequel will be directed by Yuki Watanabe.
Arknights is a free-to-play tower defense mobile game created by Hypergryph and published by Yostar, and the source material for the anime is this game. The game first appeared in China in May 2019, and it then spread to other regions in January 2020.
It can be played on Windows PCs, Macs, and mobile devices running iOS and Android. The game has a large cast of playable characters unlocked using gacha techniques. The following voices may be heard in the anime (and the game):
