The series began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2017 and was later published as a light novel by GC Novels in 2018. A manga adaptation by Daisuke Takino started serialization in 2018 as well. Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the light novel and the manga in English.
