The full cast for the Mato Defense Force Chiefs in Chained Soldier Season 2, premiering in January 2026, has been announced.
Kana Ichinose will play Konomi Tatara (Unit 1 Chief), Fairouz Ai will play Mira Kaminoten (Unit 2 Chief), Manaka Iwami will play Bell Tsukiyono (Unit 3 Chief), Fuka Izumi will play Yakumo Ezo (Unit 5 Chief), Maaya Uchida will play Tenka Izumo (Unit 6 Chief), Akari Kito will play Kyoka Uzen (Unit 7 Chief), Yukana will play Fubuki Azuma (Unit 9 Chief), and Kana Hanazawa will play Ren Yamashiro (Unit 10 Chief and Chief Commander).

Chained Soldier Unit 1 Chief. The youngest chief and an active high school student. She is Riu’s treasured disciple.

Chained Soldier Unit 2 Chief. A bold, caring “big sister” type. She is rivals with Kyoka, as both are aiming for the position of Chief Commander. Her ability, “All Killing,” allows her to freely control clones, overwhelming enemies with sheer numbers and power.

Unit 3 Chief. Though timid, she was scouted by the Mato Defense Force after her abilities were recognized. She is often teased like a toy by Ren Yamashiro.

Unit 5 Chief. She has a bright personality and becomes close with others easily. Her ability, “Night Storm,” allows her to manipulate the wind.

Unit 6 Chief. She worries about Yuki, referring to him as “Slave.” Her ability, “Ame no Mitori,” allows her to manipulate space.

Mato Defense Force Unit 7 Chief. Her hometown was destroyed by the Shuki, and she aims for their complete annihilation. She uses her ability, “Slave,” to command Yuki.

Unit 9 Chief. The mother of Himari and Yachiho, she is a heroine who boasts outstanding spearmanship. Her ability, “Sunset,” summons a retractable, high-output spear for battle.

Unit 10 Chief and the Chief Commander who leads the Mato Defense Force. She wields eight different powers and boasts absolute strength with her ability, “All-Encompassing Infinite Universe.”
■ About the TV Anime Chained Soldier
A battle fantasy following Yuki as he fights the Shuki (monsters) as a “slave” using Kyoka’s ability. The series is based on the original work by Takahiro and the manga by Yohei Takemura. The staff includes Masafumi Tamura as Director, Yasuhiro Nakanishi as Series Composition, and scripts by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, Daiki Saki, Takahiro Nagase, and Kyota Kano. Keiya Nakano provides character designs, Kohta Yamamoto composes the music, and Chikako Yokota serves as Sound Director. The animation is produced by Passione × Hayabusa Film.
Set in “Mato,” an alternate dimension populated by monsters called Shuki and “Peaches” that grant special abilities only to women. The story begins when Yuki Wakura, a high school boy searching for a place to belong, meets Kyoka Uzen, the Chief of the 7th Unit of the “Mato Defense Force”—an organization comprised of women who have gained powers from the Peaches. It is a battle fantasy where Yuki fights the Shuki by becoming a “slave” through Kyoka’s ability.
The cast includes Yuya Hirose as Yuki Wakura, Akari Kito as Kyoka Uzen, Yume Miyamoto as Himari Azuma, Mari Hino as Shushu Suruga, Hina Tachibana as Nei Okawamura, Maaya Uchida as Tenka Izumo, Nene Hieda as Yachiho Azuma, Reina Ueda as Sahara Wakasa, Tomori Kusunoki as Aoba Wakura, Saho Senbongi as Koko Zenibako, and Rina Hidaka as Naon Yuno. Also starring are Kana Hanazawa as Ren Yamashiro, Kana Ichinose as Konomi Tatara, Fairouz Ai as Mira Kaminoten, Manaka Iwami as Bell Tsukiyono, Fuka Izumi as Yakumo Ezo, and Yukana as Fubuki Azuma.
