There are only a few more days until the new Digimon Adventure 02 movie is released in cinemas throughout the United States and Canada, and Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning has released a new English dub trailer to get fans excited for what’s to come!
Just like the original DigiDestined had their final adventure as adults in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, the youngsters who were selected for the second season of Digimon Adventure are returning for their own film. Still, it has a brand-new plot revolving around a guy named Lui, who was supposedly the first DigiDestined.
Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning has been playing in Japanese cinemas for the past month, and it’s about to get a huge boost in popularity thanks to a limited release by Fathom Events on November 8 and 9.
You can hear them in action in a new video down below, but one of the main pulls of the new English dubbed version is the return of several members of the original anime’s cast.
How to Watch Digimon Adventure 02?
Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning is now playing in Japanese cinemas, and on November 8-9, Fathom Events will hold a special screening event for the film in the United States and Canada, with both the original Japanese and English dubbed soundtracks available.
The Japanese adaptation features many of the same voice actors from Digimon Adventure 02, as well as the return of director Tomohisa Taguchi and writer Akatsuki Yamatoya from Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. However, as of this writing, the cast for the English dub has not been finalized.
