The first key visual and promotional video have been released for the fourth season of the TV anime *That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime*, which is set to premiere on April 3rd during the “FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT” programming block and across other networks. The new season will span a total of five cours, structured in a split-cour format. It will kick off with two consecutive cours starting this April.

After successfully hosting the Founder’s Festival and establishing diplomatic ties with various nations, the Jura Tempest Federation takes its first strides toward realizing a “Co-prosperity Sphere between Humans and Monsters”—a world where humanity and monsterkind can coexist in harmony. Overcoming racial barriers, the Federation continues to flourish as its people work hand in hand.
Behind the scenes, however, unseen forces view the rise of Demon Lord Rimuru as a dangerous threat. Among them is Granbell Rosso, a former “Hero” and the head of the Council of Five Elders of the Kingdom of Siltrosso, along with his granddaughter, Mariabell Rosso. Championing the protection of humanity through absolute subjugation, Granbell and Mariabell weave a web of conspiracy that inevitably leads to a direct collision with Rimuru.
Meanwhile, in the Golden Realm of El Dorado, Demon Lord Leon sets a specific plan into motion. As the Hero who protects humanity and the Demon Lord who rules the world navigate a tangled web of conflicting ambitions, a single “Hero” is on the verge of awakening.
Driven by unyielding resolve, Rimuru’s next battle is about to begin.

Having defeated Clayman, Rimuru has officially ascended to the rank of Demon Lord. Following the Walpurgis banquet of the Demon Lords, Rimuru’s domain expanded to encompass the entirety of the Great Forest of Jura. Anticipating a massive influx of representatives from various races arriving to pay their respects, Rimuru devises a plan to host a “Founder’s Festival”—an event meant to simultaneously unveil his new status as a Demon Lord and attract new citizens to Tempest.
Meanwhile, in the Holy Empire of Lubelius—the headquarters of the monster-hating Luminous Faith—Holy Knight Captain Hinata receives a message from Rimuru. However, the message she receives is a declaration of war, maliciously altered by an unknown party. Upon hearing reports that Hinata is advancing toward Tempest, Rimuru must make a critical decision. Struggling to distinguish true allies from enemies while persistently pursuing his ideal of a “Co-prosperity Sphere between Humans and Monsters,” Rimuru embarks on a brand-new challenge.
