The first collected volume of Someone Hertz, a coming-of-age radio romantic comedy currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, has officially gone on sale. Additionally, the 2026 combined Issue 6/7 of Weekly Shonen Jump features a center color spread in collaboration with the radio program All Night Nippon, and a YouTube channel designed as a work-study companion has been launched to let fans immerse themselves in the world of the series.

Written by Ei Yamano, Someone Hertz began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 42 of 2025 (released September 15) and quickly generated significant buzz. The story follows Mimei, a serious high school boy, and Kurage, his free-spirited classmate, as they slowly grow closer through their shared passion for late-night radio. The narrative is depicted with a pleasant tempo, blending their witty comedic banter with scenes of their laid-back daily lives.

To commemorate the release of Volume 1, the series has collaborated with Nippon Broadcasting System’s popular late-night program All Night Nippon. The center color spread in the 2026 Issue 6/7 combined special edition—released on the same day as the volume—features an illustration styled like a broadcast photo taken in front of a microphone, complete with the All Night Nippon logo. Furthermore, a 24-hour live-streaming YouTube channel, intended to accompany viewers while they work or study, was opened on the same day.
