The TV anime adaptation of Ominaeshi’s manga series The Sado Life of Rosé the Witch, currently serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward, has been officially greenlit.
The story follows Rosestaria—better known as Rosé—a witch who finds herself effectively exiled from her kingdom due to the “taboo” of having black hair. Seeking a fresh start, she casts a teleportation spell and winds up in an unexpected new world: Sado Island. Alongside a local girl named Sana, Rosé dives headfirst into a spirited comedy about her struggles to achieve the perfect slow-paced island life.
To celebrate the announcement, Ominaeshi has released a special commemorative illustration.
