The producers of High School DXD have said that Season 5 will premiere in 2020. However, the date was pushed back because of the sudden worldwide epidemic.
Taking into account the past release gaps and the fact that the world has now reverted to its usual timetable, we may expect Season 5 of High School DXD in early 2024.

High School DXD’s fourth season was revealed during the Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai event in October 2016, therefore it’s likely that the announcement of a fifth season would be timed to coincide with another major anime-led event, with a teaser accompanying the news.
