The romantic comedy Ichigo Aika The Sassy Little Sister and the Uptight Big Brother (Original Work: Hirafumi / Art: Kamiuma Yagi) is officially getting a TV anime adaptation! The series, known for its outrageous love-comedy dynamics between a cheeky younger sister and her straight-laced older stepbrother, will be brought to life by AnimeFesta Originals, the studio behind Moan for Me, Adam-kun, Show Time!, Harem Camp!, Overflow, and Joshi Ochi!.

To commemorate the anime adaptation, illustrator Kamiuma Yagi has drawn a brand-new celebratory illustration. In addition, both original author Hirafumi and artist Kamiuma Yagi have shared special comments with fans, reflecting on the excitement of seeing their work adapted for television.

In celebration of the adaptation, the first three volumes of the manga Ichigo Aika will be available to read for free from September 6 (Sat) through September 19 (Fri), 2025.
Series Synopsis

I’m Kouta, a nitpicky and serious type of guy. Every time we meet, it’s insults and arguments—a terrible sibling relationship from the start.
