Invincible Season 2 Release Date: Who is in The Cast of Season 2 of Invincible?

Season 2 of Invincible will soon be available on Prime Video, more than two years after the show’s first debut. The visuals from the Season 1 finale are still as fresh in our minds as if they had just happened. Invincible, aka Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), finds out that his father, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), has betrayed him.

And then there was a slaughter. Oof. After Omni-Man’s departure, the future of the teenage superhero is unclear, but new dangers to Earth are certainly on the horizon.

For the sake of memory: As the first season came to a close, Nolan told his son and fellow Viltrumite that he had been sent to Earth to conquer the world. After Mark’s refusal, Nolan brutally beat up his kid all around Chicago.

When Nolan asks Mark what he would still have hundreds of years when the people that his son is focused on preserving are all dead, it is the most tragic scene of the program. Mark, looking completely bruised, continued, “You, Dad, I’d still have you.” After hearing this, Nolan called off his rampage and left Earth in tears. Whew!

The teaser trailer for Season 2 of Invincible confirms that Omni-Man will be back. However, as Mark develops his abilities, it stands to reason that a plethora of new foes will emerge. Find out when Season 2 of Invincible will premiere, who will be returning, and more, right here.

Invincible Season 2 Release Date

At San Diego Comic-Con, Invincible creator Robert Kirkman spoke with Collider’s Steven Weintraub and announced the series’ return on November 3 for six episodes and a full second season in 2024. When asked about the intermissions, Kirkman said:

I think many shows are overlooked over the holiday season due to the abundance of competing media and the emphasis on spending time with loved ones for the celebrations of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. In my opinion, pausing is beneficial, and it will also strengthen the story. When the season premieres, everyone will understand what I mean.

Fans who can’t wait for more Invincible were given a special treat in the form of a one-shot narrative starring Atom Eve. Invincible Season 1 and the Atom Eve special are available for streaming in their entirety at the given links.

Trailer For Invincible Season 2

At Comic-Con, fans also saw the first glimpse of Season 2 of Invincible. Numerous important figures from Season 1 make cameos, including a broken-hearted Debbie (Sandra Oh). She was obviously talking to Nolan, who had cruelly compared her marriage to one with a “pet” in the Season 1 finale. “I didn’t know who he was,” she continued.

The teaser trailer also reveals the addition of several new performers to the ensemble cast, in addition to the many returning ones. That is quite a list, to put it mildly. One need just consider Rhea Seehorn, Sterling K. Brown, Lea Thompson, and Ben Schwartz to get an idea of the breadth of this category.
