A TV anime adaptation of Kyoko Hikawa’s isekai fantasy manga From Far Away (Kanata Kara) has been officially green-lit and is slated to premiere in 2026. Alongside the announcement, a celebratory illustration by Hikawa and a special teaser trailer have been released.

The story follows high schooler Noriko Tachiki, who is caught in an explosion on her way home from school and abruptly transported to another world. There, she crosses paths with a taciturn warrior named Izark. Their fateful encounter quietly sets the destiny of the world in motion.
Noriyuki Abe will direct the series.
