Fans are eager for additional information regarding the storyline involving Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi after the cliffhanger finish of the most recent episode. This Tweet translates to roughly, “The second season of “Link Click” has come to a close. From the middle of summer until early fall, this is the one true path. I appreciate all the help and company you’ve given me. The series has not concluded, and we are excited to begin a new season with you.
The anime, at least according to the Tweet, will continue, and the crew behind it will come back with ideas for a new installment. So, the third season has been greenlit, but there is no word on when it will premiere.
Link Click Season 3 Release Date
The official Link Click X (formerly Twitter) account (@sgdlr_official) made the announcement on September 22, 2023, that the show will be returning for a third season. The tweet roughly translates like this:
The end of season two of “Agents of Time” has come. From the middle of summer until early fall, this is the one true path. I appreciate all the help and company you’ve given me. There’s much more to come in this series, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
With this tweet, the Link Click team has all but confirmed the production of season 3, however, no air date has been specified. However, viewers of the first two seasons of Link Click may be certain that just around two years passed between installments. The first season debuted on April 21, 2021, and the second season premiered on July 14, 2023; both seasons were produced by LAN Studio.
If this pattern continues, we may see the release of season 3 of Link Click in the latter half of 2025. Since the Chinese animation studio has already indicated that they would be doing a third season, it is safe to assume that they have plans to continue the plot.
