New character designs for Dot Barrett and Lemon Irvine have been released for the third season of the TV anime MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES, titled the “Tri-Magic-Athalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc.” The series is scheduled for broadcast in 2027. Chiaki Furuzumi will serve as the character designer for this third season.
About TV Anime MASHLE
MASHLE is an “abnormal magic fantasy” in which honed muscles crush all magic. The original manga was created by Hajime Komoto. The anime production staff includes Tomoya Tanaka as director, Yosuke Kuroda handling series composition and scripts, and Hisashi Higashijima as character designer. Sub-character designs are provided by Saki Hisamatsu and Nozomi Goto, with Takeshi Matsuda and Hiroaki Gouda serving as action directors. Music is composed by Masaru Yokoyama, and Satoshi Motoyama serves as sound director. Animation production is by A-1 Pictures.
Synopsis
This is the Magic Realm, a world where the use of magic is commonplace. Deep within a forest in this world, a young man dedicates himself to muscle training. His name is Mash Burnedead—and his secret is that he cannot use magic.
Although he desired nothing more than a peaceful life with his family, he suddenly finds his life targeted. Through a twist of fate, he enrolls in a magic academy with the goal of becoming a “Divine Visionary,” the elite of the elite. Will his tempered muscles stand a chance against the finest sorcerers in the world? The curtain rises on this offbeat magical fantasy, where pure physical power shatters every spell.
