Alone in bed late at night—your voice was my only salvation.
Arisu Yamabuki is the heir to a massive financial conglomerate who strives for absolute perfection in everything he does. Yet, he is searching for the crucial “remaining 1%” he needs to become truly flawless. That missing piece is “Apollo,” the host of the radio show Midnight Heart Tune, which he used to listen to almost every night. However, at the end of Arisu’s first year of middle school, she abruptly ceased her broadcasts without a word.
Fast forward to the spring of his second year of high school. Pulling some strings, Arisu enrolls as a student at Furin High School, an institution that recently transitioned from an all-girls school to a coeducational one. He has never seen Apollo’s face, nor does he know her real name; his only clue is her voice. One day, drawn by a familiar sound, Arisu dashes into the broadcasting club room. There, he discovers four girls who all dream of working in voice-related professions: Rikka Inohana, an aspiring singer; Nene Himekawa, who wishes to become a voice actress; Iko Kirino, an active VTuber; and Shinobu Ugetsu, an aspiring announcer.
The twist? Every single one of these girls reminds him of Apollo in some way. Determined, Arisu declares that he will make all four of their voice-related dreams come true. In order to fulfill the promise he once made to Apollo, the earnest “voice” story of Arisu and these dream-chasing girls officially begins!
The cast features Rikuya Yasuda as Arisu Yamabuki, Momoko Seto as Rikka Inohana, Rumi Okubo as Nene Himekawa, Sayumi Suzushiro as Iko Kirino, Miku Ito as Shinobu Ugetsu, and Kana Hanazawa as Remon Ando.
