A key visual has been released for the second season of the TV anime Medalist, set to broadcast starting January 24 via the “NUMAnimation” block on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliated stations nationwide.

Set against the backdrop of a beautiful frozen lake, the visual depicts the protagonists, Inori and Tsukasa, alongside their rivals, Hikaru and Yodaka.
Additionally, production has been confirmed for a theatrical film covering the story following the events of the second TV season. The movie is scheduled for release in 2027.
About the TV Anime “Medalist”
The series is based on the original manga by Tsurumaikada. It is directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto, with series composition and scripts by Jukki Hanada, character design by Chinatsu Kameyama, and animation production by ENGI.

Inori Yuitsuka and Tsukasa Akeuraji met as athlete and coach, bonded by their shared, intense dreams of figure skating. Aiming to become a glorious “medalist,” Inori has built a track record at the Meiko Cup and the West Japan Elementary and Junior High School Competition. After passing her badge test, she has finally earned the right to compete in the same rank as the “genius girl,” Hikaru Kamisaki.
Her next objective is the Chubu Block Tournament, where qualification for the All Japan Championships is on the line. Surrounded by new rivals, Inori is determined to prove that she can shine the brightest!
