In conjunction with this announcement, the first key visual has been unveiled. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Sakurazaka46 will perform the season’s opening theme.

First Key Visual Revealed!
The first key visual depicts the Yozakura family speeding off in their car against a backdrop of cherry blossoms in full bloom. The image evokes the arrival of spring and the curtain rising on a new story. Where is this eccentric spy family heading next?
Based on the manga by Hitsuji Gondaira (published by Shueisha Jump Comics), Mission: Yozakura Family is a spy family comedy filled with love and laughter. The story follows Taiyo Asano, a high school student who closed his heart after losing his family in an accident, as he navigates a tumultuous life with the Yozakura family, a historic lineage of spies.
Serialization began in Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2019, and the series has since surpassed 3.6 million copies in circulation. After approximately five and a half years, the manga reached its grand finale this past January, garnering significant attention and emotional acclaim from fans.
Furthermore, to commemorate the upcoming second season, an official TikTok account (@yozakura_family_anime) has been launched. The account plans to release content designed to further enhance fans’ enjoyment of the Mission: Yozakura Family anime.

Comment from Sakurazaka46
We are honored to perform the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime Mission: Yozakura Family. Being involved in an anime production in this capacity has been a long-held dream for our group, so we are incredibly happy and proud.
“What’s ‘KAZOKU’?” is centered on the theme of “family” and is designed to evoke feelings of connection and warmth.
As a group that shares the character for “Sakura” (Cherry Blossom) in our name, we hope to serve as a bridge connecting Mission: Yozakura Family with many people through our music.
