Like Oshi No Ko, the first season of My Happy Marriage shot to incredible popularity very quickly. The anime sounded like a lovely romantic narrative at first, about a girl who discovers true love and happiness in the arms of her spouse. But there’s a lot more to My Happy Marriage than that!
It’s full of mystical ideas like magic and ghosts, and its protagonist, Miyo Saimori, has to figure out how to get by without any of them.
In the final two episodes, Miyo visits her mother’s past and learns some surprising information about her Usuba ancestry. Although Miyo finally learned the truth about herself, her narrative still has many chapters to be written. It should come as no surprise, therefore, that every viewer hopes the program will be picked up for a second season.
Is Season 2 of My Happy Marriage in the works?
Minutes after the premiere of the final episode of Season 1, production on My Happy Marriage Season 2 was revealed.
The anime has an impressive 8.6 rating with over 37,000 votes on My Anime List. Therefore, it is clear that the first season was successful, and the studio would have been insane not to renew the program for a second season.

Recently, it has become standard practice for the creators to reveal the upcoming season after the final episode has aired. And it appears that pattern continued in My Happy Marriage as well.

What Will Happen in the Second Season of My Happy Marriage?
The full extent of Miyo’s abilities has yet to be seen, but it is already clear that they are unparalleled even compared to Kiyoka’s.
My Happy Marriage owes it to its audience to uncork even more of that bottled joy. We can’t see the Netflix gods being so gruesome (haha).
The second season should take up right after the conclusion of the first. The consequences of the Emperor’s actions will linger for a long time.
might all the Grotesqueries have been destroyed, and might Miyo have successfully eliminated everyone involved with the demons’ release? It’s not out of the question that additional people were involved.
After that, we should anticipate the return of the Saimori, Miyo’s malevolent paternal family. Something tells us that Miyo’s success will be seen as a justification for vengeance on their part.
