It has been officially announced that the second season of the TV anime Oblivion Battery (Bōkyaku Battery) will be broadcast in 2027. In conjunction with this news, a teaser visual and reveal video have been released, launching the “Oblivion Event Project” designed to build momentum toward the new season.

The reveal video features newly recorded voice lines by the main cast: Toshiki Masuda (as Haruka Kiyomine), Mamoru Miyano (as Kei Kaname), Yohei Azakami (as Aoi Todo), Nobunaga Shimazaki (as Shunpei Chihaya), and Yuki Kaji (as Taro Yamada).

The “Oblivion Event Project” will commence in April 2026 with the “TV Anime 2nd Anniversary Keystone Combination Special” broadcast. Following this, the summer of 2026 will feature the “TV Anime Season 1 Recap Screening Relay,” a series of theatrical screening events accompanied by stage greetings.

A major event, the “TV Anime Oblivion Battery Season 2 Kick-off Event,” is scheduled for the autumn of 2026. Further details regarding these events will be announced subsequently.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to July 2024.
