Character designs for the Elbaph Arc of the One Piece TV anime, premiering in April 2026, have been released. Ten new costume designs for the Straw Hat Crew are available to view, including Nami in a revealing outfit and carrying a long sword on her back.
Additionally, the currently airing Egghead Arc will conclude at the end of December. Following a hiatus from January to March 2026, the Elbaph Arc will begin broadcasting in April. Starting in 2026, the series will no longer air recap episodes and will broadcast a maximum of 26 new episodes per year.
One Piece is based on the manga of the same name, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump on July 22, 1997. It is a grand maritime adventure revolving around the “One Piece,” the “Great Treasure” left behind by the legendary King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger.
The epic story follows the protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, a young boy who gains the special ability to stretch his body like rubber after eating the “Gum-Gum” Devil Fruit. He gathers a crew to form the “Straw Hat Pirates” on his quest to become the next King of the Pirates.
