Promotional images have been released for SPY x FAMILY Mission: 48, “Level 3 Emergency,” which is set to broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks starting December 13.
About the TV Anime SPY x FAMILY
Based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo, the series is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi and Takahiro Harada, with series composition by Ichiro Okouchi, character design by Kazuaki Shimada, and music produced by (K)NoW_NAME. Animation production is a collaboration between WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks.

In an era where nations engaged in fierce information warfare beneath the surface, the East (Ostania) and the West (Westalis) had maintained a cold war for over a decade. “Twilight,” a brilliant spy belonging to the Westalis Intelligence Services’ Eastern-Focused Division (WISE), is assigned a top-secret mission to investigate the movements of Donovan Desmond, the reclusive President of the National Unity Party of Ostania and a threat to the peace between East and West.
The mission is named Operation Strix. The requirements: “Create a family within one week and infiltrate the social gatherings at the prestigious school attended by Desmond’s son.”
Twilight disguises himself as the psychiatrist Loid Forger and sets out to build a family. However, the daughter he meets, Anya, is a telepath, and the wife he finds, Yor, is an assassin. With their interests aligning, the three begin living together while concealing their true identities from one another. World peace has been entrusted to this makeshift family, for whom one crisis follows another.
The cast features Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, Kenichiro Matsuda as Bond Forger, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Franky Franklin, Yuko Kaida as Sylvia Sherwood, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Henry Henderson, Kensho Ono as Yuri Briar, Natsumi Fujiwara as Damian Desmond, Emiri Kato as Becky Blackbell, and Hiroki Takahashi as Keith Kepler.
