Following the broadcast of the third season’s finale on March 26th, production has officially been greenlit for a fourth and final installment of the TV anime series, “MF Ghost Final Season.” A teaser visual and a teaser trailer have also been released.
About the TV Anime “MF Ghost”
Based on the original manga by Shuichi Shigeno, the series is directed by Tomohito Naka. Kenichi Yamashita oversees the series composition and co-writes the scripts with Akihiko Inari. Naoyuki Onda serves as the character designer and shares chief animation director duties with Chiyoko Sakamoto and Tetsutaro Yui. Hiroki Uchida is the 3D director, Akio Dobashi composes the music, and Masafumi Mima is the sound director. FelixFilm handles the animation production, while CG animation is a joint effort between FelixFilm and directrain.
The protagonist, Kanata Katagiri (Kanata Rivington), traveled from the UK to Japan to compete in the MFG. He has steadily climbed the ranks, finishing ninth in the opening race at Odawara Pikes Peak and fourth in the subsequent Ashinoko GT. Now, the racing stage shifts to the third round: The Peninsula Manazuru.
The battle for the top spots intensifies with the entry of rising star Sena Moroboshi, the inheritor of the “Gunma Pride.” Kanata steps up to the challenge in his 86, whose combat capabilities have been significantly boosted by a newly installed turbocharger—but trouble looms. The final race begins with Kanata unable to use second gear due to a recently sustained elbow injury. As his rivals overtake him one after another in this dire situation, a raw, dormant fighting spirit finally awakens within him!
