A second teaser visual for the TV anime “勇者のクズ,” slated to air on the Nippon TV network from January 2026, has been unveiled.

The new image features Yashiro, the “Grim Reaper,” voiced by Ryota Suzuki.
A character PV for Yashiro has also been released.
A top-tier “hero” who’s perpetually broke and a bit jaded, he’s devoted to beer, pizza, and card games with friends.

By the mid–21st century, Tokyo’s underworld is ruled by mobsters who have turned themselves into “Demon Kings” through ether (magical) augmentation surgery. The bounty hunters who take them down are called “heroes.” Heroes boost their ether abilities with a drug called E3 to stand against the Demon Kings—and their acts of killing are legalized. In short, being a hero is literally a job for a killer. One day, a self-proclaimed “disciple” barges in on the freelance hero known as the “Grim Reaper,” Yashiro: a high-school girl named Shirogamine, a hero-in-training. Reluctantly taking her in, Yashiro finds himself pulled into one rotten case after another. A scummy “master” and his self-proclaimed “disciple”—a heavy‑hitting, modern supernatural action story kicks off!
