The first promotional video and additional cast members have been revealed for the TV anime The Food Diary of Miss Maid (Maid-san wa Taberu Dake), which begins airing this April on TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV, and BS Asahi.
The new trailer features the opening theme song, “Ribbon,” performed by majiko. Additionally, the ending theme has been confirmed as “Shiawase Flavor” by ARCANA PROJECT.
Shizuka Ishigami will voice Sora Endo, while Hiromi Igarashi takes on the role of An Shingetsu.
Sora Endo (CV: Shizuka Ishigami)
A high school student who became interested in Suzume after running into her on his commute to school. Since that encounter, he seems to share a strange connection with her, frequently finding their paths crossing.
An Shingetsu (CV: Hiromi Igarashi)
A university student residing in room 202 of the same apartment building as Suzume. She struck up a friendship with Suzume after helping her through a certain incident.
About the TV Anime The Food Diary of Miss Maid
Based on the manga by Susumu Maeya, the series is directed by Ryosuke Izumiyo, with series composition by Natsuko Takahashi and Sayaka Fujimoto. Chiaki Abe serves as character designer, and Katsutoshi Kitagawa (ROUND TABLE) composes the music. Animation production is handled by EMT Squared and Magic Bus.
Synopsis Suzume, a maid formerly employed at a British manor, finds herself starting a new life in a small apartment in a quiet corner of Japan following a turn of events. While living alone in a foreign country for the first time fills her with anxiety, her curiosity about Japanese cuisine knows no bounds. Stepping boldly out of her apartment, she encounters a variety of dishes and people. Simply watching her eat is pure bliss! Thus begins a heartwarming slice-of-life anime about a maid living an extraordinary ordinary life.
