The Solo Leveling anime is an adaptation of a web novel penned by Chugong, serialized between 2016 and 2018. Spanning 270 chapters, the novel has been compiled into 14 volumes. English readers can access the licensed version under the title Only I Level Up, courtesy of Webnovel.
In addition to the novel, a webtoon adaptation with Jang-Sung-Rak (known as DUBU from Redice Studio) providing the art was concluded in December 2021. This adaptation, which was assisted by H-goon, initially appeared on KakaoPage in Korea and comprises two seasons.
The webtoon is also available in English through platforms like Webnovel, Tappytoon, and PocketComics. Furthermore, Yen Press released a paperback volume of the webtoon earlier this year. There’s also more to anticipate from the franchise. A game based on the series is currently being developed, and a drama adaptation is also in the pipeline.
