This past weekend, readers of the Spy x Family manga were left disappointed when the author announced a significant delay in the publication of the next chapter. Twilight and the rest of WISE are still dealing with the consequences from all that transpired during Operation Strix, which reached its culmination in the most current volume of the Spy x Family manga.
As the story arc winds down, however, the author has warned that readers will have to wait a while for the next installment.
Family Spy The next chapter of the manga, number 88, was scheduled to be released on Monday, October 2nd in Japan (and thus on Sunday, October 1st in international territories), but series creator Tatsuya Endo surprised fans on social media by announcing the delay until Monday, October 16th. Spots to Meet the Spy x Family
The Spy x Family manga is presently part of Viz Media’s digital Shonen Jump collection, with the most recent three chapters accessible for free reading. The anime’s comeback is scheduled for the Fall 2023 season, so at least that’s not too far off. The new season premieres on Crunchyroll exclusively on October 7th.
The first film in the series, Spy x Family Code: White, will debut in Japanese theaters later this December.
