A new PV teaser for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Doctor Elise has been published, this time focusing on Elise’s ex-fiancée Linden. The premiere of the anime is scheduled for January 2024.
Yui Ishikawa voices Elise de Clarence, Youhei Azakami voices Linden de Romanoff, and Yoshimasa Hosoya voices Graham de Fallon in Doctor Elise.
The animation is directed by Kumiko Habara (I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss), written by Deko Akao (My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex), and drawn by Yuuko Watanabe (co-designer, A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life). The animation production is being handled by MAHO FILM.
The online book series from South Korea serves as inspiration for the anime. Serialized on Kakaopage beginning on December 30, 2015, and ending on April 27, 2016, it was authored by Yuin. A manhwa webtoon adaption by Mini was published on the same site from September 18, 2017, to February 16, 2021. Pinetoon published a total of ten books.
This webcomic is serialized on Piccoma and printed by Kadokawa Shoten’s Flos Comic imprint in Japan. Tappytoon was the original publisher of the product.
Digital issues of Doctor Elise are presently published in English by Lezhin Comics, who describe the tale as:
