The TV anime adaptation of Tadaima, Ojamasaremasu (I’m Home, I’m Being Intruded Upon), a romantic comedy about neighbors living under one roof that begins with the unexpected trouble of their apartments becoming connected, has been officially confirmed. A three-part teaser visual and the main cast lineup have been released.
The story follows Rinko, a twenty-four-year-old office worker living alone who is also a closet otaku. In the spare moments of her busy life, she heals her fatigue with her favorite anime and manga. However, every time she watches anime, she is subjected to fierce, protesting pounding on the wall from her neighbor to the right.
Rinko attempts to resolve the issue through the wall with the help of Satsuki, the charming gentleman living to her left, but the person who kicks down the wall to appear is none other than Usaharu-sensei—the original author of Rinko’s favorite manga, Usaneko-bu. To make matters worse, Usaharu (whose real name is Usada) ends up destroying the wall leading to Satsuki’s room as well.
The original work is by Watomura. The anime is being produced by Tatsunoko Production, with Itsuki Imazaki serving as director and handling series composition. The script is written by Imazaki and Makoto Takada, while Shunsuke Kikuchi serves as character designer and chief animation director.
The cast features Kana Hanazawa as Rinko Nakama, Kaito Ishikawa as Kyouto Satsuki, and Haruki Ishiya as Haruma Usada.

- Rinko Nakama (Voiced by Kana Hanazawa)A twenty-four-year-old office worker living in Room 602. She has a gentle, placid personality with a naturally guileless streak. She is so absorbed in anime and manga that she has zero experience with real-world romance. As a fanatical supporter of Usaneko-bu, she agrees to become a “Meshistant” (a meal-cooking assistant) to support the creative work of the author, Usada (Usaharu), who lives in Room 603.
- Kyouto Satsuki (Voiced by Kaito Ishikawa)The kind, refreshing, and mysterious gentleman living in Room 601, to Rinko’s left. He volunteers to pretend to be Rinko’s boyfriend to help her deal with the wall-pounding harassment from Room 603. However, his suggestive behavior frequently bewilders Rinko, hinting that he may be hiding a secret.
- Haruma Usada (Voiced by Haruki Ishiya)The young man living in Room 603, to Rinko’s right. As “Usaharu,” the author of the popular manga Usaneko-bu, he spends his days immersed in writing. While his foul mouth and flashy appearance give him a tyrannical impression, he also possesses a surprisingly lonely side.
