The tenth seasonal visual, themed around “Cherry Blossom Viewing,” has been unveiled for the upcoming TV anime *Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Body Swap in the Maiden Court*, which is set to begin broadcasting this July.

About *Though I Am an Inept Villainess*
**Synopsis**
The Maiden Court is a palace where princesses from five noble families are gathered to be trained as the crown prince’s future consort. Reirin, a maiden of the beautiful and brilliant Kou family, was beloved by all and hailed as “His Highness’s Butterfly.” However, on the night of the Star Festival, her body is swapped with that of Keigetsu, a maiden of the Shu family who is widely despised and branded a villainess.
By the time Reirin realizes what has happened, she is informed that her execution has already been decided, placing her in a desperate situation. Yet, having been frail and living on the brink of death since childhood, she is actually overjoyed to have finally obtained a healthy body.
What initially seemed like a tragic body swap turns out quite differently. Possessing a will of steel, Reirin thoroughly enjoys her newfound freedom even after being banished to a dilapidated shack. She overcomes countless adversities, enchanting even those who seek her life with her innate cheerfulness and kindness. Meanwhile, Keigetsu, who had harbored intense jealousy and hatred toward Reirin, finds her own heart beginning to waver as she witnesses Reirin’s true nature.
The two girls swapped bodies on a night when a comet shone brightly. From that day forward, their destinies are drastically altered, eventually drawing them into a grand conspiracy that threatens to shake the entire inner palace. A magnificent tale of role reversal in the royal court, featuring two polar-opposite girls, finally begins.
