Norio Sakurai’s The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) manga will have its spinoff series, Twi-Yaba, adapted into an anime, the official website for the television adaptation of the manga revealed on Wednesday. The promotional trailer for the upcoming second season of the anime, which will air in January, is now available to see online.
Sakurai’s official X (formerly Twitter) account is where short tales from the Twi-Yaba offshoot manga first appeared. The manga’s title is based on the first two kanji used in the Japanese transcription of the word for “Twitter.”
The Dangers in My Heart anime event, taking place on December 10 at Tokyo’s LINE Cube Shibuya, will include the global premiere of several of the anime adaptations of the spinoff manga.
The second season of The Dangers in My Heart will broadcast on TV Asahi and its 23 affiliates, as well as on BS Asahi, in January as part of the NUMAnimation block of programming. The majority of the first season’s cast and crew are back for season 2.
On April 1, the first season of the anime debuted on TV Asahi and its affiliates during the “NUMAnimation” block of programming. HIDIVE provided live coverage of the anime’s broadcast in Japan.
