The television anime adaptation of “Yowayowa Sensei” will begin airing in April 2026. Alongside the broadcast window, a teaser visual, the principal staff, and the core cast have been unveiled.
First-year teacher Hiyori Hiwamura has already earned a chilling nickname among her students: “Kowakowa Sensei”—the “scary, scary teacher” they believe will curse anyone who irritates her. In truth, she’s simply frail: zero stamina, a thin, trembling voice, and every stat at rock bottom. She’s really just “Yowayowa (Feeble) Sensei.” When her student Akito Abikura accidentally discovers her secret, he resolves to clear up the class’s misunderstanding and make sure her awkward, earnest efforts don’t go unnoticed. As he supports the teacher he admires, the two find themselves swept into a series of heart‑pounding, unpredictable mishaps.

He’s fond of Hiyori’s sincere dedication to her students and throws himself into untangling the false rumors about her—though his efforts often drag him into unexpectedly stimulating situations.
